Provides leadership and management of the Perioperative Services department, including the operating room, recovery room, GI laboratory, surgical processing and outpatient surgery. Ensures that the highest level of patient care possible is provided in a cost-effective manner. Evaluates the effectiveness of surgical nursing care and staff development. Keeps informed of nursing care trends, new technology and related developments. Ensures compliance with established standards, practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements- Current CA RN license
- Advanced degree and CNOR highly desired
- Previous related management experience in large acute care operating room
- Medical, dental and vision coverage is provided for all full time and part time employees*
