Job SummaryThe QC Inspector I role is responsible for performing detailed Final and In-process inspections on products and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications, including Rec. Inspection when required. This position plays a vital role in identifying defects, maintaining quality documentation, and supporting continuous improvement efforts within the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct inspection on solder, conformal coating, bonding, rework as required.
- Identify and report any defects or non-conformities.
- Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards.
- Work with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
- Communicate any quality issues to management in a timely manner.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
- Provide flexible support in final inspection, filling in as needed to maintain workflow and ensure consistent quality oversight.
- IPC-610 knowledgeable or certified (Preferred).
- J-STD-001 knowledgeable or certified (Preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality inspection.
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a workstation.
- Manual dexterity to handle small components and operate inspection equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
