Position Title: Security Dispatcher Location: Santa Ana, CA.
Schedule: TBD Employment Type: Temporary (Part time - Full time)
Pay: $23.00/hr

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Security Dispatcher to join our team. The dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating security operations and ensuring effective communication between security personnel and clients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a high level of situational awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch Operations: Monitor and coordinate the deployment of security personnel to various locations and incidents. Dispatch security officers to client sites based on needs and priorities.
  • Emergency Response: Act as the primary point of contact during emergencies. Coordinate with law enforcement, fire departments, and other emergency services as needed.
  • Communication: Maintain constant communication with security officers, providing updates and instructions. Ensure that all radio and communication equipment is functioning properly.
  • Incident Monitoring: Track and document all incidents, calls, and officer activities in real‑time. Use surveillance systems and software to monitor security feeds and assess potential threats.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate records of daily activities, incident reports, and any other relevant documentation. Communicate critical information to management and clients as necessary.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as a liaison between the security team and clients. Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Compliance and Protocol: Ensure that all security procedures and protocols are followed in accordance with company policies and client requirements.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in security, dispatch, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to multitask in high‑pressure situations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with computer systems, dispatch software, and surveillance equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in dispatch or security operations are a plus.
Work Environment
  • Setting: The position is primarily based in a control room or office setting, with occasional requirements to assist on‑site as needed.
