Diesel Mechanic C (5pm start time)

Join Republic Services as a Maintenance Technician C performing preventive maintenance on diesel and non‑diesel equipment and trucks under the supervision of a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager. The role requires basic knowledge of vehicle systems to perform routine maintenance and repair on a single fleet of state‑of‑the‑art equipment.

• Maintain a basic knowledge of a vehicle’s mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
• Conduct vehicle PM inspections and adjustments, oil changes, fluid replenishment, tire changes, and basic electrical work.
• Use a variety of tools to conduct visual inspections and identify potential equipment issues.
• Complete applicable company training programs.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned or apparent.

• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• Valid Driver’s License is preferred.
