About the Role

As our Corporate Roving Maintenance Technician, you'll travel between our communities to provide skilled maintenance support where it's needed most. You'll be our go-to resource for plumbing repairs, help on-site teams with service backlogs and make-readies, and keep our properties in excellent condition for residents. The ideal candidate is a strong plumbing troubleshooter who is customer-focused, works with urgency, and is comfortable working independently across multiple sites.

What

You'll Do

Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogged drains and main lines, water heaters, toilets, faucets, garbage disposals, shut-off valves, and supply and drain lines

Complete work orders and preventive maintenance at multiple properties with minimal supervision, and document all work accurately and on time

Support make-ready turns with electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, and general repairs so apartments are ready for move-in

Help maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities, including trash and debris pickup, pressure washing, and general cleaning

Follow company standards and applicable laws, including Fair Housing, OSHA, landlord-tenant law, local building codes, and EEOC requirements

Attend safety meetings and required trainings, and promptly report accidents, incidents, and safety hazards to the appropriate manager

Respond quickly to emergencies during work hours

Track inventory used, return unused materials, flag reorder needs, and support cost savings by repairing rather than replacing parts when practical

Provide excellent customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, and fellow associates

Perform other duties as assigned

What You Bring Required

Proven plumbing experience in apartment, residential, or property maintenance settings

Working knowledge of electrical, appliance repair, and basic hand and power tools

Knowledge of environmental hazards, including asbestos, lead-based paint, moisture intrusion, and radon

Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, vendors, and team members

Basic computer skills for online ordering, email, company training, and timecards

Valid driver's license

Strongly Preferred

2+ years of hands-on plumbing experience

Experience with drain and sewer line clearing (snake or jetter), water heater installation and replacement, repiping, and leak detection

Plumbing certification or trade school training

Experience working across multiple properties or in a roving or floating role
