Delivery Dispatcher

Dispatch & Operations

* Coordinate and assign delivery routes to drivers efficiently and accurately

* Monitor active deliveries, driver status, and route progress in real time

* Ensure all orders are accepted, staged, and dispatched in accordance with company SOPs

* Communicate delays, issues, or changes to drivers and management immediately

* Verify all delivery documentation is complete before dispatch (IDs, manifests, receipts)

Compliance & Accuracy

* Ensure all deliveries comply with California DCC regulations and company policies

* Verify customer information, order details, and delivery eligibility prior to dispatch

* Maintain accurate delivery logs, timestamps, and driver records

* Report any discrepancies, incidents, or compliance concerns to management promptly

Driver Support & Accountability

* Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers during shifts

* Ensure drivers follow all safety, vehicle, and security protocols

* Confirm vehicle inspections, lockbox procedures, and end-of-shift checklists are completed

* Track driver attendance, punctuality, and communication

Customer Service & Communication

* Assist with delivery-related customer inquiries or issues when needed

* Maintain professional, calm, and solution-focused communication at all times

* Coordinate with sales floor and management to resolve order or payment issues

Administrative Duties

* Assist with end-of-shift reconciliation and reporting

* Support audits, reviews, and operational improvements as directed

* Maintain organized dispatch records and reports

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required

* Must be 21 years of age or older

* Previous dispatch, logistics, or coordination experience preferred

* Strong organizational and multitasking skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication

* Ability to remain calm and effective in high-volume or high-pressure situations

* Basic computer skills and comfort using POS, delivery, or routing systems

* Ability to stand, sit, and work in an office/dispatch environment for extended periods

Preferred

* Experience in a regulated industry (cannabis, transportation, logistics, or security)

* Familiarity with cannabis delivery compliance and procedures

* Leadership or supervisory experience
