Salary: Starting Salary: $27.71 - $31.04
Full Salary Range: $27.21 - $43.27

$200 bi-weekly bilingual stipend if applicable

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Federal Programs, performs duties related to the support functions of the Federal Programs Team. These functions include, but are not limited to, maintain quality assurance with TCRC's Medicaid Waiver and Self Determination program, CDER / ESR database, DDS conservatorship and Institutional Deeming.

Job Duties:

Federal Programs
  • Ensures transmission of Federal Programs information to the Department of Developmental Service in accordance to the Waiver manual for all eligible individuals.
  • Maintains TCRC conservatorship reports for DDS.
  • Processes Institutional Deeming referrals.
  • Maintains TCRC's master Medicaid Waiver lists and reports.
  • Completes the monthly distribution of waiver re-certification documentation.
  • Maintains TCRC conservatorship reports for DDS.
  • Maintains TCRC CDER database and completes the reconciliation of the CDER reports.
  • Supports TCRC's Federal Programs Manager, SIR Coordinator and Transfer / Fair Hearing Coordinator as needed.
  • Develops and disseminates database queries for those served in Early Start.
  • Sets up and maintains logs, records, files and manuals.
  • Adheres to HIPPA standards in maintaining confidentiality of case and organizational data.
  • Additional functions may be assigned as necessary.
Self Determination
  • Assists with the implementation of the Self Determination Program which includes but is not limited to:
  • Provide support to TCRC's Local Self Determination Advisory Committee.
  • Scheduling /coordinating monthly meetings or as needed.
  • Take notes during meetings & prepare minutes to distribute at future meetings.
  • Maintain/update TCRC Self-Determination webpage.
  • Maintain Self Determination waiver list, Translation of Self Determination informational materials.
  • Prepare communications, such as memos, emails and other correspondence as needed.
Skill Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate ideas effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to problem solve in a flexible and effective, fully independent manner in carrying out job responsibilities
  • Ability to prioritize work and attending to detail while maintaining established deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and composure when dealing with sensitive confidential matters
  • Promotes and maintains positive interpersonal relationships across all teams at TCRC
  • Excellent computer skills; usage of software for client documentation, client management, information systems, email and other computerized functions.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of office procedures and practices; grammar and spelling; word processing and data entry methods
  • Full use of automobile, possession of a valid California driver's license and automobile insurance for the maximum amount prescribed by law, for occasional travel to offices within the three counties served by TCRC.
  • Ability to read/speak/write English and Spanish fluently preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
  • AA/AS Degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to travel to any office at any time
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Physical Requirements:

Position requires the ability to work independently. Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer. This is primarily a sedentary office classification. The position also requires grasping, repetitive hand movement, finger dexterity and fine coordination in preparing statistical reports and data using a computer keyboard and calculator. Additionally, the position requires near, far, and color vision in reading correspondence, statistical data, and using the computer.

Hearing and speech are required to communicate in person, before groups and over the telephone.
