Senior Designer

Kellow Construction is seeking a Lead Interior Designer with impeccable taste, emotional intelligence, and a quietly magnetic presence. Our work is custom and classic; historic, vintage, warm, and comfortable. We’re drawn to natural materials, texture, patina, wood, earth, and details where form follows function and beauty is built into the structure and process.

This role is for a designer with a clear point of view and seasoned judgment, someone who can guide clients and teams toward lasting decisions with ease. You understand design as a human experience: how a home feels, moves, and works, as well as how it photographs in a quiet moment. You shape the aesthetic and the process, bringing refined taste, technical fluency, and calm authority to high‑end remodels.

You lead from concept through construction alongside builders and craftspeople, ensuring the details are specified, buildable, and true to the spirit of the home. We’re building a long‑lasting company, and we want to be known for our style as much as our standards.

• Have 10+ years leading residential projects end‑to‑end
• Translate concepts into clear drawings and selections in Revit and associated software
• Have a strong eye for materials, proportion, and detail
• Communicate with warmth, confidence, and emotional awareness
• Guide clients and junior designers through decisions with grace
• Value process, follow‑through, and thoughtful execution

Compensation: $110,000 - $135,000 DOE annual salary exempt from overtime pay.

Employment type:

40 hours a week, in person.

Benefits:
Ten paid holidays a year, 80 hours paid time off, 40 hours sick time. Robust health and life insurance with $475 of employee's monthly paid by employer. Dental insurance is available for a small cost to employee. Employer will match up to 3% of annual salary for deposits into Simple IRA retirement account or Dependent Care Flex Savings (used to pay for qualified child and dependent care) whichever suits them better.
