Position overview Position title: Lecturer

Salary range: Salary is based on UCSB salary scales. Table 15 for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimated full-time rate for this position at 100% time is $70,977- $82,284 annually. Percent appointments may vary.

Percent time: Varies by course.

Position duration: The appointment is limited to the length of the course.

Applications are invited for possible part-time lecturer openings at the University of California, Santa Barbara, in the Department of Counseling, Clinical, and School Psychology. Appointments are variable in terms of percentage time, with the possibility of reappointment. Salary is based on UCSB salary scales.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

A master's degree in clinical, counseling, school, educational, or general psychology or a related field by the time of application.

Additional qualifications (required at time of start)

At least one quarter or semester of college-level teaching experience.
A doctoral degree in applied psychology is required for those teaching practicum courses.

Preferred qualifications

Ph.D. or Psy.

D. in psychology or a closely related field.
Experience with counseling, clinical, or school psychology practices, and student supervision.
