Summary
Cenfire is seeking a passionate and talented Product Engineer to lead and own the product lifecycle for the smallest, fastest, highest‑performing switch in the world. This is a high impact role and a unique opportunity to bring the first ohmic MEMS switch built on all‑Si technology to market and introduce technology that the market has never seen. This revolutionary technology will replace older switch technology and greatly reduce carbon emissions through more efficient switching.
As a key player within our R&D team you will drive the development and completion of product qualification, characterization, qualification reports, and production plans. The role offers the opportunity to grow into a leadership position.

Responsibilities- Lead and own the product life cycle
- Start product qualification plan and tasks
- Run experiments to debug and characterize new products
- Identify root cause for failures and propose product failure containment and corrective/preventative actions
- Plan and execute product reliability tests
- Develop plan to move product from development to high‑volume production
- Collaborate with the test team to deliver and make decisions on the electrical measurements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with minimum 4+ years of Product Engineering industry experience.
- Experience with oscilloscope, VNA, amplifiers, signal generator, SMU, and RF subsystems
- Experience with electrical circuit analysis, hardware understanding and design, reliability tests, end‑of‑life tests, and generating qualification reports
- Understanding of product qualification and new product introduction
- Software debug and root cause analysis
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Experience with programming languages, Python and LabVIEW
- Experience with JMP statistical analysis software
- Experience taking a product from development to production
- Drive to be a team leader
- Experience with Ohmic RF Switches
