We’re looking for an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead multidisciplinary electrical development efforts across hardware and embedded systems. This role blends technical leadership with project execution, guiding teams through complex designs while maintaining schedule and budget accountability. It’s well suited for someone who enjoys mentoring engineers and owning delivery from concept through release.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate electrical engineering activities across hardware, firmware, and FPGA development efforts.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation using tools such as MS Project.
- Review and guide development of schematics, PCBs, and sensor-based systems to ensure technical quality and alignment with requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with optics, firmware, and mechanical designs.
- Track project progress, manage risks, and communicate status, timelines, and priorities to leadership and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- Experience managing electrical engineering teams and complex technical projects.
- Strong background in electrical system design, including schematics and PCB-based systems.
- Familiarity working alongside firmware and FPGA development teams.
- Demonstrated experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and execution oversight.
- Knowledge of sensors, electronics, and system-level integration.
- PMP certification preferred but not required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
