Mechanical Engineer – SolidWorks | Santa Barbara, CA Onsite | AS

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and products using Solid Works.
• Create and maintain 3D models, engineering drawings, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing documentation.
• Participate in the complete product development lifecycle from concept through prototype, testing, and production.
• Perform mechanical design analysis and evaluate designs for functionality, manufacturability, reliability, and cost.
• Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, engineering, and other cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and engineering documentation.
• Support prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and design modifications.
• Apply GD&T and engineering drawing standards where required.
• Work with manufacturing teams and suppliers to resolve design and production issues.
• Support continuous improvement and design optimization activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional experience in mechanical/product design and development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Solid Works.
• Experience creating 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• Knowledge of GD&T and mechanical tolerancing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
