Founded in 1966, the not-for-profit Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital is licensed for 48-bed acute care beds, admits 1,700 patients a year, receives 24,000 emergency room visits and nearly 30,000 outpatient visits per year.
The hospital is recognized for its Breast Imaging Center, the Ridley-Tree Center for Wound Management and the Center for Orthopedics.
The Radiology Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of the Radiology Department and the Breast Imaging Center, overseeing about 23 direct reports across the two departments. The department provides inpatient and outpatient general radiology, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, DEXA, and CT scanning, and serves as a clinical training site for Radiology students from Santa Barbara City College.
Minimum Qualifications Education- Minimum: BA degree or comparable training and experience which provides skills to perform the job tasks completely.
- Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.
- Minimum:
Valid certificate (CRT) from the state of California. - Preferred: ARRT registered, Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum: 5 years clinical radiology experience, 3 years supervisory experience.
- Preferred: 7 years clinical radiology experience.
