Valle Verde, a Human Good community, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a full-time basis in Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara County. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our residents by actively incorporating our Philosophy for Person-Directed Care.

As a CNA at Valle Verde, you will be responsible for developing an awareness of individual residents’ interests and needs, helping them maximize their independence, and encouraging their active participation in daily life. You will provide exemplary, person-centered care ranging from meeting basic daily needs to assisting with activities of daily living and recreational initiatives. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all residents in your care.

We are excited to offer a brand-new 4 on / 2 off schedule to help support a healthy work-life balance for our care team members. Compensation for this full-time position is structured at an annual rate of $87,245, with a pay range depending on experience that also features stackable shift differentials.

Key responsibilities and expectations for this role include:
* Delivering compassionate, high-quality care aligned with person-directed care principles.
* Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care needs.
* Supporting resident independence, engagement, and participation in community events and recreational activities.
* Monitoring and addressing the individual physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
* Maintaining a safe and clean environment to promote resident health and well-being.
* Communicating effectively with nursing staff, team members, and resident families regarding resident status and care updates.
