Main duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting room attendants and supervisors in servicing/cleaning the rooms, patios, and public areas as assigned and coordinated by a manager.
• Removes all trash and soiled linen consistently to avoid an unkempt appearance at all times.
• Completes daily and general cleaning schedules to the standard established by El Encanto Housekeeping.
• Daily cleaning of carpets, patios, walkways, and windows as directed.
• Completes any guest request up to standard promptly upon receipt. Verifies completion to a supervisor or office coordinator.
• Completes all assigned tasks in accordance with all safety procedures as defined by El Encanto.
• Reports and hands in all lost and found items according to the lost and found procedure established by El Encanto.
• Follows key handling procedure set by El Encanto.
• Assisting housemen and supervisors in servicing/cleaning public areas, restrooms, and offices as assigned and coordinated by a manager.
• Completes daily and general cleaning schedules to the standard established by El Encanto Housekeeping.
• Daily cleaning of walkways common areas as directed.
• Completes any guest request up to standard promptly upon receipt. Verifies completion to a supervisor or office coordinator.
• Use utilities and resources in a responsible manner to control wastage.
• Communicate relevant information to the department, your line manager, and across departments, as appropriate.
• Comply with safe working practices, health and safety policy, and ensure accidents/defects are reported immediately.
• Attend learning and development courses and complete eLearning modules, as required.
• Demonstrate and be a role model of Belmond's core values of care, confidence, curiosity, and community.

Full-Time

$22.00 hourly
