About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join their team. The CISO will be tasked with developing and implementing a comprehensive information security strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives. This includes taking the lead on information security risk management, compliance, and governance, as well as ensuring the protection of information assets and electronic personal health information.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a culture of information security awareness and best practices throughout the organization, and will be accountable for assessing risks, promoting security awareness, and monitoring information security systems and capabilities. The ideal CISO for the company will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in advancing security processes, particularly within a health system.

A strong understanding of HIPAA, security protocols, risk analysis, data protection, and health information privacy is essential. The role also requires expertise in threat identification and end-user awareness, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with both internal and external partners. The CISO will play a critical role in ensuring that the organization meets and complies with all necessary regulatory and compliance standards and mandates.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
