Under general supervision, the Machinist will set up and operate CNC Mills / Okuma and Haas Milling machines and conventional machines to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts.

• Program CNC machines using CAMWorks software integrated with Solid Works.
• Perform set-up and first article on CNC Mill tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job.
• Properly and safely load and unload raw material in CNC machinery.
• Use measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Perform tool wear offsets.
• Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery.
• Utilize and abide by ISO requirements and safety procedures.
• Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.

• 3-5 years of experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (mills, grinders, etc.).
• Ability to learn CAMWorks software integrated with Solid Works.
• Ability to use precision tools (e.g., calipers) to take accurate measurements.
• Understand and have the ability to perform tool wear offsets.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of vocational training or an apprenticeship will be an asset.
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• Experience using CAMWorks with Solid Works for programming CNC machining operations.
