Salary Range$20.00 – $37.25 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Operate hand‑operated tools and electronic equipment to repair products specified on work orders using standard work instructions and inspection procedures.
- Perform incoming evaluations and identify failure modes of returned products using a variety of factors.
- Support daily product testing by performing FCO (Final Checkout), FCL (Final Check List), and other automated or manual electrical tests.
- Test products using a variety of tools, including computer programs, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, light measurement equipment, and digital and analog electrical test equipment.
- Record test results and findings into forms or database applications.
- Access and follow packaging instructions and work instructions from PLM and document management systems based on product structure requirements.
- Prefer ERP and complaints database experience.
- Prepare, issue, and kit materials based on the Repair Work Order Pick List requirements according to work instructions and departmental guidelines.
- Perform inspection of completed work and documentation to ensure correct specifications and functional criteria are met.
- Maintain a clean work area and initiate “Area Clearance” to preserve material traceability at the workstation.
- Perform or initiate required preventive maintenance schedules on equipment and tooling within the repair department.
- Support the department with internal/external audits and non‑conformances (NCRs).
- Ensure all departmental procedures and Good Document Practices (GDP) are followed.
- Provide management with input for new products, processes, procedures, and fixture development.
- Work on multiple process steps or lines, adjusting and reprioritizing work as necessary.
- Accurately transact service work order data into ERP.
- Participate in required company training activities related to products and processes supporting medical device manufacturing.
- Maintain and follow electrostatic discharge (ESD) work environment procedures.
- Demonstrates limited knowledge of industry practices and standards. Reasoning Ability
- Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
- Work is performed under very general supervision. Follows specific, detailed instructions.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook) preferred.
- Basic knowledge of visual inspection, part handling, component assembly, and barcode scanning.
- Basic ability to test, disassemble, and repair returned products.
- Navigate SAP, Agile, and Documentum systems with assistance.
- Basic CNC and bead blasting skills preferred.
- Solve simple math equations and perform tasks through verbal communication.
- Adopt an environment of continuous improvement to develop more robust procedures within existing processes.
- Good manual dexterity to assemble electro‑mechanical assemblies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in the medical device industry or similar preferred.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, multilayered work environment preferred.
