Overview

As a Client Growth Strategy Manager, you are responsible for a portfolio of advertiser accounts. You provide expert advice, training, and consultation on affiliate marketing strategies, create content and tools, renew contracts, upsell services, and collaborate with internal partners to ensure client success. You serve as the trusted advisor to our advertisers, helping them implement strategies on the CJ network.

Responsibilities
  • Manage client relationships and develop a deep understanding of advertiser corporate and marketing objectives to build effective affiliate marketing strategies.
  • Lead a team of affiliate marketers to execute strategies, ensuring timely and effective deliverables.
  • Pitch CJ’s products and solutions to gain adoption and meet client business goals.
  • Advocate for CJ’s value proposition and act as a point of escalation partner for advertiser programs.
  • Collaborate on product enhancements as a client representative.
  • Grow client revenue, forecast growth, and identify opportunities.
  • Develop and share best practices, content, and tools with clients and publish resources in CJ’s Support Center, Blog, and other collateral.
  • Lead cross‑departmental collaboration to troubleshoot complex program and technical challenges.
  • Mentor associates by coaching, providing guidance, and fostering best practices to help team members succeed at CJ.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing role—ideally digital performance marketing.
  • Capability to develop thoughtful strategies to grow advertiser programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and relationship skills.
  • Ability to work cross‑functionally with Product, Analytics, Accounting and Technology teams.
  • Deliver high‑quality service and results while meeting CJ financial expectations.
  • Proven leadership and coaching skills.
  • Critical thinker and creative problem solver who can influence and negotiate account strategies incorporating affiliate marketing best practices.
  • Passion for innovation and technology.
  • Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Additional Information

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in office.

Compensation

Compensation Range: $73,910 – $101,200 annually. The company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
