About the Role
Bright Star Care is hiring skilled and compassionate LVNs to deliver home health care to patients across Santa Barbara County. This is a Per Diem position offering flexible hours and meaningful hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities for Home Health LVNs:
- Perform tracheostomy care and manage lary tube needs
- Provide enteral feeding (G-tube, NG-tube) support
- Administer medication and manage ongoing med routines
- Deliver wound care with attention to healing and infection control
- Monitor changes in patient conditions and document thoroughly
- Follow individualized Plans of Care and communicate effectively with families
* Our LVNs work within a 30-mile radius, supporting clients with complex needs in a home setting.*
What We’re Looking For:
- Current, unrestricted California LVN license
- Experience in trach care, lary tube support, feeding tubes, medication management, and wound care
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Understanding of HIPAA and home health compliance standards
- Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
- Clear background check
