• Can read and write English, interact with the public and co‑workers.
• Can read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Can write simple correspondence.
• Can effectively present information one‑on‑one and in small groups to customers and employees.
• Can apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift & move up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, occasionally up to 60 lbs.

The Part‑time Retail Associate performs management‑assigned duties, which may include stocking and maintaining store sections, carry‑out services, and store cleaning.

• Maintain assigned store sections; stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment).
• Ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, end‑display units, floor stacks, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising or promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas, including parking lot.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers.
• Load customer purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
