Mission City Construction Inc. is seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Construction Laborers. This is an exciting opportunity to launch a career in construction with a Santa Clara-based design/build firm that specializes in custom residential homes and high-end commercial improvements. As a laborer, you'll gain valuable hands‑on experience across a variety of construction trades including concrete, framing, finish carpentry, plumbing, grading, and drainage.

• Support skilled tradesmen on a wide variety of tasks across job sites
• Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools
• Load/unload materials and handle logistics around site staging
• Prepare and clean construction sites, including debris removal and equipment maintenance
• Erect and dismantle temporary structures like scaffolding and bracing
• Assist with foundational work such as earth compaction, drainage setup, and pipe installation
• Perform general labor tasks such as digging, breaking concrete, stripping forms, and setting frames
• Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions
• Ask questions and learn from on‑the‑job training opportunities
• Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor on‑site

• Strong work ethic and physical stamina
• Ability to lift/move up to 70 lbs and navigate active construction sites
• Comfortable working in various weather and environmental conditions
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks
• Fluent in English (Spanish a plus)
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
• Eagerness to learn Mission City Construction's standards and methods
• Positive attitude and willingness to take direction

Full‑time, Monday through Friday. 8-10 hour shifts based on project needs. Overtime available.

Projects are based around Santa Clara and surrounding Bay Area regions. Must be available for on‑site work and occasional travel to job sites.
