Part Time Educator - Santa Clara After School Staff

Right At School provides local school districts before and after school extended day programs with a focus on imaginative learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students.

Pay Rate: $21 – $23 per hour (based on education and experience)

Program

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 1 pm – 6 pm (hours may vary slightly depending on school location)

• Facilitate daily program meetings: review goals, updates, share ideas, discuss progress, and encourage teamwork.
• Plan and lead daily activities and curriculum, ensuring alignment with program objectives and providing educational, engaging experiences for all ages.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment with positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Prioritize safety: monitor the environment, address hazards, adhere to safety protocols, and document attendance, incidents, and observations as required.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and school personnel.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
• Team‑player with strong collaboration skills.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with children under 13 (preferred).
• Ability to lift 25 lb.
• Drive to inspire a love of learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

• Meet state‑specific requirements.
• Cleared tuberculosis test and health screening.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• 18 + years of age.
• Proof of high school diploma/GED required.
• Fingerprint Live Scan background check.
