** Overview:
** We are seeking a motivated
** recent college graduate
** to join our Supplier Engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates with a
** degree in Electrical Engineering
** and a strong interest in manufacturing and repair processes. You will work closely with experienced engineers and suppliers to ensure quality and reliability in our products while gaining hands-on experience in supplier development and process improvement.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Assist in reviewing engineering drawings and specifications to ensure clarity and manufacturability.
* Support new product introduction by coordinating with suppliers during early development phases.
* Help investigate alternate manufacturing processes for cost reduction and improved quality.
* Participate in
** supplier onboarding activities**, ensuring new suppliers understand requirements and quality standards.
* Assist in
** supplier audits**, including part-to-print verification and basic process reviews.
* Support supplier performance evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Assist with resolving quality issues by supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Contribute to production readiness assessments for new modules and transferred products.
* Document and communicate findings to cross-functional teams in a clear and concise manner.
** Preferred Skills & Knowledge
*** Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.
* Familiarity with repair processes or troubleshooting techniques (preferred).
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T concepts.
* Exposure to quality tools and problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D, PFMEA) is a plus.
* Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
** Education & Experience
*** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
* Up to 6 months of relevant experience (internship or project work counts).
* Interest in supplier quality, manufacturing processes, and repair operations.
* Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
