Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and optimize gas box systems for semiconductor manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., SEMI, ASME, NFPA).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Process engineers, System engineers, NPME, GPS, TPS, Lab Ops, Buyers, OEM manufacturers and local machine shops.
- Conduct failure analysis and implement design improvements.
- Conduct Concept, Detailed and Final Design reviews.
- Support installation, testing, and troubleshooting of gas delivery systems.
- Submit Product Change Requests based on customer requests.
- Review and approve Engineering Change Requests and Supplier Problem Sheets.
- Review and approve Cap Code Requests for new gas configuration on new shipment.
- Initiate Supplier Collaboration Vault for prototype and/or lab support designs.
- Collaborate with Component Engineering on new product developments (MFC, pneumatic/hybrid/manual valve, filter, regulator, Flow Ratio Controller, integrate Mass Flow Specification).
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Master’s in Mechanical Engineering / Bachelor’s
Experience: 5+ years in semiconductor gas delivery systems.
Technical
Skills:
Mechanical Design & Engineering; proficiency in CAD software (NX, Solid Works, AutoCAD); knowledge of fluid dynamics, gas compatibility, macro flow, gas flow control; familiarity with high‑purity gas systems and components including pneumatic valves, hybrid/manual valves, regulators, filters, ev manifolds, pressure switches; understanding of safety protocols for hazardous gases.
- Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field.
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
