Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated engineer who can cover both Customer Quality (CQE) and RMA (Return Material Authorization) responsibilities end-to-end. This role serves as the primary technical interface to our customers while driving rigorous failure analysis and continuous improvement. You will lead customer quality assurance, manage RMA processes and labs, perform root-cause analysis using advanced debug tools, and coordinate corrective actions across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Customer Quality (CQE)
  • Ensure products and services consistently meet or exceed customer expectations and contractual quality requirements.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for major customers; handle escalations, negotiate issue resolution and timelines, and maintain overall satisfaction.
  • Drive structured problem-solving (8D) for customer issues, from containment through corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support new part approval processes (e.g., Mobile) and adherence to industry standards.
  • Manage customer‑specific quality requirements and provide onsite support when needed.
  • Track and improve quality indices and statistics; lead continuous improvement initiatives.
RMA & Failure Analysis (RMA Engineer)
  • Own the RMA process: intake, triage, evaluation, analysis, reporting, and closure—targeting cycle‑time reduction and robust outcomes.
  • Set up and operate the Korea RMA lab; establish test plans and analysis workflows.
  • Perform system/device-level evaluation using tools such as Microscope, X‑ray, CSAM, Curve Tracer, CDP/Bench, and handset test equipment.
  • Correlate customer‑reported failure signatures to device/system behavior; determine root cause across Baseband, PMIC, RF, and related components.
  • Document findings with clear, data-backed reports; provide feedback to design, manufacturing (FAB/Assembly), test, and reliability teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance
  • Collaborate closely with design, test, manufacturing, reliability, and program teams to align actions and close issues.
  • Ensure data integrity, appropriate information sharing, and compliance with company/customer policies.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance quality, reduce escapes, and accelerate learning loops.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Hands‑on lab and debug experience; strong skills in failure analysis and test equipment usage.
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing (FAB/Assembly), IC test methods, and how they map to system behavior.
  • Proven experience analyzing mobile handset systems and components (Baseband, PMIC, RF).
  • Excellent communication skills in Korean (native) and English—clear written reports and crisp verbal updates.
  • Ability to work independently and within global, cross‑functional teams; willingness to travel as needed.
Experience Guidelines
  • Customer Quality/RMA/Failure Analysis: 4 to 10+ years of experience in handset/Auto/PC/semiconductor CQE/RMA debug.
Preferred
  • Demonstrated success in a fast‑paced environment with measurable process improvements.
  • Experience with 8D, FMEA, and standard quality practices.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills; ability to influence without authority.
  • "Can‑do" attitude, openness to change, and a track record of leading continuous improvement.
Tools & Equipment (Typical)
  • Microscope, X‑ray, CSAM, Curve Tracer, handset test systems, and standard lab instrumentation for system/device-level evaluation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 4+ years of Quality Engineering or related work experience.
