ResponsibilitiesJob Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer II to join our Global IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall Microsoft technologies in public/private cloud, day‑to‑day operations including asset inventory, configuration management, security controls, systems health, and third‑party infrastructure app integrations and contribute to Cordis goals. The ideal candidate will have qualifications and skills as outlined below.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for the overall Microsoft technologies in public/private cloud, day‑to‑day operations including asset inventory, configuration management, security controls, systems health, and third‑party infrastructure app integrations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Analyze current business and technology practices, user needs, and workflow processes for improvement
- Work with MSP on supporting Global IT
- Represent the team as a participating member of designated committees
- Serve as a subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with Infrastructure systems
- Participate in 24x7 on call rotation and be available for after‑hours support as needed
- Participating in enterprise disaster recovery exercises
- Systems Engineering design, architecture and management and administration
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Additional duties and responsibilities as needed
- BS or BA degree in Business or Computer Science with an emphasis on Information Technology
- 3 Years of Systems Engineering/Administration Experience
- MCAAA, MCAF, VCP, CCNA‑RS, OCI‑DP, ACA, ACP, ACE, AWS SAA
- Knowledge of service management frameworks such as ITIL utilizing Service Now
- Understanding/Knowledge of global security frameworks and standards like CGMP, HIPAA, CIS, NIST, FIPS
- Graduate Degree in Computer Science or business with related field.
- MCASEA, VCP, AWS SAP, OCI SCP
- Administration of Microsoft Windows Servers, AD, DNS, File Share, M365, (Sharepoint, Exchange Online, Teams, One Drive), Entra SSO, Intune, SCCM and Azure Virtual Desktops
- Server Administration, Maintenance, and Security in vSphere vCenter and Public Clouds (Azure, OCI, AWS, Ali Cloud, GCP etc.), Server Image creation with CIS benchmarks and Systems Administration.
- Automation using Terraform and Azure Dev Ops
- Administration, Maintenance and Deployment of SFTP, Privilege Access Manager, eFax etc.
- Knowledge of Networking Technologies, Routing, Switching, SDWAN etc.
- Communication, Documentation, Teamwork, and Problem Solving
- Experience in Systems Infrastructure design and engineering for large Healthcare Manufacturing Enterprise
- Work environment:
Hybrid, 80% onsite, 20% remote - Physical demands:
Lifting Server equipment, prolonged standing as needed - Work hours:
