Data Center Technician L2

A large Data Center in Santa Clara, CA is hiring Multiple Data Center Technicians (Both L1s and L2s) to join the team for a large project! Job Duties

• Basic understanding of data center operations and cabling
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a team environment
• Physically install server racks
• Rack/Stack & Break/Fix
• Troubleshoot Network connectivity & Windows hardware/software
• Remove network cables as part of a datacenter decommission
• Use ticketing system
• Unbox, Movement, Staging of datacenter accessories for deployments
• Physical Audits of datacenter assets
• QC Cabling and labelling standards
• Handle complex RMA & swaps parts
• Scope, test, QC, and troubleshoot Power, cable connections

• 1-3+ years of previous data center technician experience
• Rack/Stack and cabling (fiber, copper, cat5/6) experience
• Decommissioning and swapping parts
• Must be able to work 100% onsite
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

This is a Contract position based out of Santa Clara, CA.

The pay range for this position is $34.00 – $34.00/hr.
