Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst

We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to provide dependable technical support for end users in Santa Clara, California. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving desktop and system issues, delivering excellent customer service, and keeping day-to-day IT operations running smoothly. The role focuses on hands-on troubleshooting, user support, and timely ticket resolution across Windows-based environments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide front-line technical assistance for hardware, software, and desktop-related issues affecting end users.
• Diagnose and resolve problems within Microsoft Windows environments, including Windows 10 systems and common workstation applications.
• Manage service desk requests from intake through closure, ensuring updates are documented clearly and handled within expected time frames.
• Support user account administration activities in Active Directory, including access changes, password assistance, and basic account maintenance.
• Troubleshoot system, peripheral, and connectivity issues to minimize disruption and restore user productivity quickly.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop equipment, operating systems, and standard business applications as needed.
• Escalate more complex incidents appropriately while providing accurate notes and relevant troubleshooting details to support resolution.
