Solutions Architect

• Solutions Architect (Java, AWS) - Client Facing
• Long-Term Contract

We are hiring a Techno-Functional Solutions Architect for a long-term contract with a leading global technology client in Santa Clara, California. This is an onsite role.

This is not a build-only architecture position. You will sit between business and technology, work directly with senior stakeholders to understand what they are trying to achieve, and design solutions that hold up both technically and commercially.

• Engage with business and technology leaders to understand goals, pain points and transformation plans
• Define solution strategy and roadmaps with senior stakeholders
• Lead solution design, architecture reviews and technology recommendations
• Support sales and business development with pre-sales, solution positioning and customer presentations
• Present architecture to executive leadership
• Drive delivery end to end and keep it aligned to the business outcome

• 12+ years in solutions architecture, enterprise architecture or technology consulting
• Proven customer-facing experience with senior stakeholder management
• Java and Core Java
• API design and integration
• Enterprise application architecture and cloud-native design
• Pre-sales or solution consulting experience
• Communication that stands up in front of an executive audience

• Multi-cloud environments
• Dev Ops and CI/CD
• Data and analytics solutions
• AI/ML exposure
• Application modernisation frameworks

Candidates whose background is predominantly .NET development, or who are cloud-only architects without significant customer engagement and solution consulting experience, are unlikely to be a fit for this position.
