Job Responsibilities
  • Production Planning and Coordination for US Manufacturing Center:
    • Develop Master Production Schedules (MPS) and Material Requirements Plans (MRP) based on US market demand, sales forecasts, and order status.
    • Communicate promptly with the global planning department to coordinate capacity allocation and ensure timely order delivery.
  • Supply Chain Collaboration Management:
    • Liaise with US suppliers, logistics partners, and customers to manage cross‑border material procurement, inventory, and transportation plans, balancing global inventory levels (e.g., safety stock, VMI).
    • Resolve unexpected issues in international logistics (e.g., customs clearance delays, port congestion) to ensure supply chain continuity.
  • Cross‑Cultural Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate effectively with multinational teams (e.g., overseas Planning, sales, and procurement departments, etc.), adapting to time zone and cultural differences, and promoting cross‑departmental information transparency.
    • Participate in international S&OP meetings to integrate global demand and supply plans.
  • Compliance and

    Risk Management:
    • Familiarize with international trade regulations (e.g., INCOTERMS, customs compliance, tariff policies) to ensure production plans comply with target market regulations.
    • Analyze international supply chain risks (e.g., geopolitical issues, currency fluctuations, natural disasters) and develop contingency plans.
  • Digitalization and System Optimization:
    • Proficiently use global production planning tools (e.g., SAP APO, JDA) and data analysis platforms.
    • Drive standardization and process optimization of global production planning systems to enhance multinational collaboration efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement and

    Innovation:
    • Introduce advanced international production planning methodologies (e.g., DDMRP, lean production) to promote agility and sustainability in the global supply chain.
Job Requirements
  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related fields.
    • Holders of international certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM, or SCOR‑P) are preferred.
  • Work Experience:
    • At least 5 years of experience in production planning or supply chain management, with a minimum of 3 years in multinational projects or global supply chain management.
    • Familiarity with manufacturing environments in multiple countries (e.g., US, Europe, Asia‑Pacific) and experience in international factories or multinational corporations is preferred.
  • Professional

    Skills:
    • Proficient in global production planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle SCM) and data analysis tools.
    • Familiar with international logistics models (e.g., sea, air, multimodal transport) and cross‑border trade processes (e.g., letters of credit, customs clearance).
    • Experience in cross‑cultural project management, with the ability to effectively coordinate stakeholders from different regions.
  • Language and Communication

    Skills:
    • Fluent in English, which is the working language. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
    • Excellent cross‑cultural communication skills, adaptable to multicultural work environments.
  • Soft Skills and Traits:
    • Sensitive to international political and economic environments, with a global perspective and strategic thinking.
    • Strong stress tolerance, able to adapt to frequent international meetings, travel, and handling of unexpected issues.
    • Innovative mindset, capable of promoting the application of digital tools in international supply chains.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Familiar with sustainable supply chain management practices under the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) framework.
    • Experience in managing international teams is preferred, with the ability to lead virtual or multicultural teams.
