We currently have an opportunity available for an Associate Supervisor to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management division in Sylmar, CA. This is a fully Onsite role.
As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.
Main Purpose of RoleOur current production supervisor group has 50 plus direct reports. This new role reporting to Supervisor (G.14) and under the direction of the supervisor will provide our sites the ability to lessen the span of control for all levels of production supervisors.
This matrixed supervisor org (Assoc. Sup, Supervisor, Sr. Supervisor) will allow direct labor to have dedicated time with supervisors for guidance, coaching, and employee development.
In addition, this new role creates a career ladder and development opportunity for our direct labor population to grow in the organization.
Main ResponsibilitiesAssists with activities related to shift starts and changes. Monitors daily line metrics and provides direction and guidance to skilled nonexempt staff to achieve unit or project goals.
Education
- Associate’s Degree (± 13 years) in a relevant field.
Experience/Background
- Minimum 1 year production environment necessary with degree.
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience.
