As the Head of Manufacturing Operations, you will have the opportunity to shape our global manufacturing strategy, build a best‑in‑class team, and drive innovation in EMS manufacturing. You will play a crucial role in supporting top‑tier consumer electronics brands and leading Tata Electronics’ expansion into the global hardware space.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive manufacturing strategy aligned with Tata Electronics’ business growth objectives.
• Lead engagement with customers from RFQ through NPI to mass production.
• Build and scale manufacturing operations capabilities in the US to support global EMS customers.
• Ensure smooth transition from prototyping to high‑volume production, optimizing for efficiency and cost.
• Drive automation and smart manufacturing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Establish NPI and prototyping capabilities to support early‑stage product development and iterative design improvements.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve manufacturing quality.
• Hire, develop, and lead a high‑performing manufacturing operations team with expertise in product operations, factory operations, automation, and process engineering.
• Experience working with Tier 1 EMS providers and global manufacturing partners, preferably in India and Asia‑based production environments.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across disciplines in dynamic, fast‑paced environments.
• Exceptional analytical and communication skills to balance technical and business priorities.

• 15+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, product operations, or supply chain leadership in the consumer electronics industry.
• Proven track record of leading factory operations and scaling NPI to mass production.
• Deep expertise in DFM, automation, SMT, FATP, industrial engineering, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to navigate complex supply chain and cost management challenges in high‑volume manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset.

• 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations, hardware development, or product launches.
• Track record of delivering products from concept to mass production across diverse portfolios.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and collaboration with global EMS or contract manufacturers.
