Overview
CNC MILL Programmer - 3 axis Fanuc Control
We are looking for a CNC MILL Programmer capable of programming with Geopath or Mastercam on 3-axis machines, including programming in 3D. The candidate should be able to perform high-precision work, be a team player, and demonstrate a positive attitude, good communication, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities- Program with very minimal supervision
- Work in a prototype setting
- Program using Geopath or Mastercam, including 3D machining on 3-axis machines
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Fill out traveler and in-process inspection sheets
- Perform tasks in a safe and responsible manner
- Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
- Understand and perform tool wear offsets
- 8 or more years as a CNC machinist (required)
- Experience in precision machining job shop
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Perform setups and programming under very minimal supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Fill out traveler and in-process inspection sheets
- Perform all tasks safely and responsibly
- Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
- Understand and perform tool wear offsets
- Communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
- Perform basic mathematical computations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required
- Stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms; vision requirements include close, distance, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
