Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro‑mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub‑assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods sheets and assembly drawings in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or verbal form.

• Assemble power supplies, sub‑assemblies (transformers, EMI box, etc.) controllers, TWTAs, KPAs, SSPAs, and other electrical equipment.
• Assembles mechanical components including soldering and crimping
• Identify and rework defects
• Read and understand Assembly Instructions
• Use small hand tools, magnifying lamps, microscopes, rulers and calipers
• Read and understand Change Orders and assembly prints
• Understand component identification
• Assemble mechanical hardware
• Performs inspection of all materials and documentation prior to performing assigned tasks.
• Ensures tooling and test equipment used is properly calibrated.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities when required.
• Multi‑task and adjust quickly to high paced teamwork environment

• High School diploma.

• Candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the electronic manufacturing industry with emphasis on mechanical assembly capabilities.
