Dry Film Technician

OSI Electronics (part of OSI Systems) is seeking a Dry Film Technician to join the Altaflex division. The role involves operating, monitoring, and maintaining dry film lamination processes in the production of Flexible Printed Circuit Boards (FPCBs), ensuring accurate application of photo‑resist films to copper‑clad laminates for high‑quality circuit patterning and overall product reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize a microscope to verify that products meet or exceed manufacturing guidelines.
  • Record inspection results accurately in quality logs, travelers, and computer systems.
  • Report non‑conformances and deviations promptly to supervisors, production managers, and quality engineers.
  • Maintain traceability of inspected products and materials; perform First Article review.
  • Work closely with production managers to identify and resolve quality issues; provide feedback to operators and supervisors on corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.

  • Report quality problems or defects to the manager or senior management to prevent recurrence.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent (experience may substitute for a degree).
  • Experience in PCB/FPCB manufacturing desired.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow SOPs.
  • Excellent time‑management skills with ability to multi‑task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
