PositionCustomer Quality Manager – HSIO CN, Santa Clara, CA
Responsibilities- Manage product and process quality, focusing on new product introduction and legacy volume production to meet customer satisfaction and business unit metrics.
- Own all quality‑related aspects of customer relationships, including corrective action processes.
- Primary contact for customers regarding quality concerns and required improvement plans.
- Lead efforts to solve customer quality issues in collaboration with internal teams.
- Drive customer‑quality communication and presentations.
- Monitor and analyze quality data with site‑level quality engineers or managers, recommending improvements across manufacturing locations.
- Manage customer quality requirements through documentation review and process capability/control evaluation, and participate in development engineering phase‑gate reviews.
- Handle business‑unit level customer quality metrics and improvement initiatives; produce monthly reports and review with BU leadership.
- Develop and implement quality training initiatives for customers.
- Perform initial and ongoing assessment of quality events at OEM / CM facilities as required.
- Travel up to 50%.
- BS in Engineering, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- Quality management experience with strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proven leadership in continuous improvement activities and formal quality management programs (DMAIC, 8D).
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt (preferred).
- Understanding of product documentation and technical drawings with emphasis on GD&T.
- Knowledgeable in semiconductor and interconnect industry manufacturing processes and standards.
- Strong communication and customer‑interface skills.
Base salary range: $100,000 – $189,260, plus a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, vision, vacation, sick leave, personal days, paid holidays, life insurance, disability, and 401(k) matching.
