Position Overview

This role is part of the IoT and Digital Engineering horizontal business unit, focused on driving growth of Engineering and IoT services for the Automotive sector in North America’s West Coast. The ideal candidate will have over 13 years of industry experience in shaping proposals, building strong client relationships, and driving solution‑based sales while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to create business opportunities and enhance value for Automotive clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present, promote, and sell Automotive solutions and services to existing and prospective customers in the West Coast.
  • Build strong client relationships by understanding client needs and jointly identifying their challenges and preferences.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth and expand market share for Automotive business in the US West Coast.
  • Carry out market analysis and lead business planning and strategic sales activities.
  • Drive growth by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and closing strategic deals.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver tailored solutions for automotive clients.
  • Lead technical discussions with customers for solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events and forums.
  • Actively drive awareness of Automotive solutions with targeted clients through trade shows, research‑led thought leadership, client roadshows, and workshops.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or Master’s in Engineering with 13+ years of experience, including at least 5+ years in Automotive solution development or sales.
  • Deep domain knowledge in the Automotive industry.
  • Working knowledge of Software Defined Vehicle Architecture with basic understanding of automotive domains like Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, Networking, and Diagnostics.
  • Experience in positioning offerings, developing and presenting proposals, value propositions, business cases, and complex deal structuring.
  • Strong technical skills with ability to engage customers through consultative selling.
  • Ability to understand market/customer needs and work with solution teams to develop innovative solutions for the industry.
  • Strong network in the US West Coast automotive ecosystem.
KPIs for the Role
  • Revenue growth in the Automotive sector (West Coast).
  • Number of new client acquisitions.
  • Expansion of existing accounts.

    Pipeline development and conversion rates.
  • Solutions and services developed for clients and monetized.
  • Leverage of partnerships and alliances.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
