Renewal Sales Operations Specialist
The Renewal Sales Operations Specialist is a key individual contributor on the Renewal team that consistently delivers market leading retention rates and more. The Renewal team is a culmination of individuals who are passionate about customer loyalty committed to bringing the right people together with the intention of securing and growing revenue.
This role will be focused on ensuring new deals built from the installed base are quoted accurately, aligning expiration dates and streamlining the renewal process; and ensuring the original purchase is aligned with Finance expectations. This individual will assist the Renewal team in reviewing, revising, reporting, and upgrading opportunities that impact the installed base and building algorithms with the Business Intelligence Team.
The importance of building SOX compliance processes and a solid reporting structure is a key initiative, and you will be integral in making this happen.
Your ability to drive business process, manage heavy transaction workloads, and maintain keen attention to detail will enable the team to secure more revenue prior to maintenance expiration, ultimately reducing the risk of contract value reduction. Accuracy upfront will ensure predictability in renewals.
Responsibilities- Accountable for reviewing and checking accuracy with upgrades executed by the field and Inside Account teams
- Work closely with Renewal, Sales, and Finance teams to co‑term upgrades to existing renewal dates
- Responsible for verifying pricing and data accuracy in Pure internal tools
- Fulfills installed base requests for the field
- Accountable for data‑related projects that improve Renewal reporting
- Builds Renewal opportunities in Sales Force with corresponding quotes
- 2+ years experience in sales operations and/or contract administration
- Ability to organize and prioritize activities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Organizational, follow‑up, problem‑solving, and analytical skills
- Inventory / installed base management experience is a plus
- Ability to take initiative, work flexibly, and adhere to priorities with minimal direct supervision
Required educational background:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
