Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrols at Allied Universal, Santa Clara, CA. As a Patrol Officer at a leading manufacturing/industrial location, you will maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to deter incidents, respond promptly to situations, interact with on-site staff, and uphold access control protocols. This is a Part-Time position with opportunities to gain hands-on experience and grow within the company.

Location:

Santa Clara, CA | Job Type: Part Time | Pay Rate: $27.10 / Hour

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, following site policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the manufacturing/industrial location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor for unusual activity and report concerns according to established protocols
• Support access control by observing entry/exit points and verifying credentials as required
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents or site needs
• Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations as directed

• Availability across various days and shifts
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• Desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

• At least 1 year of security-related experience
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems preferred
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
• State/county/city security license preferred
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background check and drug screen as required by law; licensing requirements may apply by location
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only
