Senior Cloud Software Engineer (Threat Prevention & AppID)

• Participate in the design and implementation of threat prevention & AppID cloud services for public and private cloud.
• Participate in all phases of the product development cycle, from definition and design through implementation and testing.
• Provide real‑time security services to customers.
• Work with PLM on new feature requirements.
• Collaborate with QA and Dev Ops on release deployment.
• Support customer issue handling.
• Collaborate with security researchers and data scientists on new feature requests.

We are the Threat Prevention & AppID Infrastructure team. Our engineering team delivers the best security services on the cloud to prevent cyberattacks. We constantly innovate and challenge the industry’s view of cybersecurity. Our engineers build products that solve unprecedented problems.

• BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Solid programming skills in Go, Python, or Java.
• Solid knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Rich Google Cloud Platform experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of web servers/proxies such as NGINX, Envoy.
• 3+ years on data infrastructure platforms.
• Strong micro‑service development experience.
• Experience with SQL and No‑SQL DB technologies such as MySQL, Redis.
• Hands‑on experience with queuing systems such as Rabbit
  
  MQ, Kafka;
  Pub/Sub is a plus.
• Solid multi‑threaded and multi‑processed programming skills; experience in a distributed system is preferred.
• Dev Ops experience is a plus.
• Teamwork, problem‑solving, and a can‑do attitude.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent).
