This position requires passing a Service Now background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards). This includes a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check and taking a drug test. Any employment is contingent upon passing the screening. We’re seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer with strong full stack development experience (expertise in end‑end application development, maintenance, & deployment covering all platform and UI/UX aspects). This role involves hands‑on coding, system design, and collaboration with stakeholders. You’ll contribute to building applications using the NOW framework. You will also be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge‑sharing.

• Build high‑quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)

• Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high‑quality product to our users.

• Implement software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs

• Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite

• Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge‑sharing

To be successful in this role you have:

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision‑making, or problem‑solving. This may include using AI‑powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI‑driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the developer productivity

• Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 12 years of hands‑on experience, or an advanced degree with 8 years of full stack development

• Demonstrated experience using AI tools such as:
  OpenAI, Windsurf, Cursor etc.

• Proficient in modern UI frameworks such as Angular or React, with strong JavaScript development skills.

• Experience working across multiple technology stacks, including:

• Cloud Platforms:
  Azure, AWS

• Messaging Systems:
  Kafka, Dell Boomi

• Monitoring Tools:
  Splunk, Catchpoint

• Web Infrastructure: API Gateways, CDNs

• Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization

• Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and software performance tuning

• Advanced experience working with relational databases including development, troubleshooting and performance optimization.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with material technical risk across teams and processes; may serve as a functional lead or technical owner

• Experience in end‑end Custom Application development on Service Now platform is added advantage
