Join the CCM (Cloud Cost Management) team in Service Now’s IT Asset Management suite! We build super scalable, high-performance, and innovative cloud optimization solutions for our customers.

As a member of the CCM Engineering team, you’ll be working on cutting-edge Service Now platforms and the latest tech, including AI and Agentic AI. Together, we’ll help customers optimize their public cloud infrastructure by understanding their spending, forecasts, sprawl, receiving recommendations, and taking action based on those recommendations.

• Build high-quality, clean, scalableand reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)

• Work with the productowners to understand detailedrequirements and own your codefrom design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to ourusers.

• Implement software that is simple touse to allow customers toextend and customize thefunctionality to meet their specific needs

• Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while also enhancing the existing productsuite

• Be a mentor for colleagues andhelp promote knowledge-sharing

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.

• 5+ years of experience with Java or asimilar OO language

• Apache Flink Exp is a plus.

• Worked on Streaming or large data processing /ingestion.

• Passion for JavaScript, reusability, andcomponentization

• Experience working with SQL and RDBMS

• Experience with data structures,algorithms, object-oriented design,design patterns, and performance/scale considerations

• Analytical and design skills, worked with one modeling tool.

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $140,700 - $239,200, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.

Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
