Software Engineer, Backend Developer, AI Engineer (Applied​/Software)

Yumi Health builds clinical software for skilled nursing teams. The product brings resident records, clinical and administrative workflows, and AI-assisted tools into one workspace.

Design, build, and operate core product and platform systems across Yumi. The work spans backend services, data models, internal tooling, production debugging, and new AI-assisted workflows.

• Base salary: $160,000 - $300,000 depending on experience and level.
• Annual performance bonus: 8% - 20% of base.
• Equity: meaningful equity grant on a standard vesting schedule.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals across backend systems, APIs, databases, and production debugging.
• Comfortable working across the stack when needed, including product-facing frontend code.
• Fluent in at least one modern language such as Python, Go, Type Script, Rust, Swift, or Kotlin.
• Able to design systems, implement them cleanly, test them properly, and operate them in production.

• Experience building in fast-moving startups or very high-ownership teams.
• Familiarity with healthcare technology or regulated data.
• Experience shipping AI-enabled workflows in production.
