Requirements / QualificationsCandidate will be working in an indoor/outdoor environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and diesel fumes, as well as driving in adverse weather conditions. Physical abilities must consist of climbing in/out of buses, sitting for extended periods of time, lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 75 pounds, and dexterity of hands/fingers to operate a school bus.
- Successful completion of a school bus driver training program recognized by the California Highway Patrol.
- Possession of a valid California Class B driver’s license.
- Current School Bus Driver’s Certificate issued by the California Highway Patrol.
- Valid First Aid Certificate issued by an authorized agency.
Candidate is required to pass a medical examination and is subject to random drug testing. Attach a copy of your Class B driver’s license and School Bus Driver certificate with your application.
