The MWH Constructors' Construction Management Services (CMS) group is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Quality Inspector to conduct and document inspections related to the construction of water/wastewater‑related infrastructure projects in the Santa Clarita, CA area.

• Represent the project owner in the field and provide single‑point field inspection of the contractor’s work.
• Daily monitor and record contractors’ methods, procedures, and processes for compliance with the contract and prepare a comprehensive Daily Inspection Report with measurement of daily installed quantities and resources utilized.
• Inspect the work for completeness and conformance with the plans, specifications, and applicable regulations and ordinances.
• Assist the construction manager in developing as‑built drawings.
• Document compliance and non‑compliance of completed work with established quality control and quality assurance processes and procedures.

• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of inspection experience in the construction of water infrastructure projects.
• ACIA/CPII Certifications.
• A thorough understanding of construction safety, quality control, and general contract management requirements is necessary.
• Confined Space Certification.
• Equivalent combination of related experience and technical training may be substituted.
• Valid California Driver’s License.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

• The base hourly rate is $65.96, and fringe benefits are $35.35, as per the General Prevailing Wage Determination (PWD) issued by the Director of Industrial Relations.
