• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, and catheterizations.
• Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with cardiovascular conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
• Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Address and manage acute cardiovascular emergencies and complications.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records.

• Advanced knowledge of interventional cardiology techniques and procedures.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical judgment skills, particularly in high‑pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in cardiology‑specific medical equipment and technology.
• Ability to handle complex and often urgent medical situations.
• Flexibility to adapt to new work environments and different medical teams.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in internal medicine accredited by ACGME or AOA.
• Fellowship in cardiology with specific training in interventional cardiology.

• Board certification in cardiology (ABIM or AOA).
• Additional board certification or fellowship completion in interventional cardiology.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in California.

• Preferred: at least one year of experience providing clinical care in a cardiology setting.
