After School Technology Instructor

Join Black Rocket Productions as an After School Technology Instructor and inspire students with project‑based learning in coding, game design, robotics, and digital media.

• Lead 6‑8‑week sessions throughout the school year and summer; guide students through a world‑class curriculum that includes coding, Minecraft, Roblox, video editing and more.
• Deliver engaging, hands‑on lessons to students ages 8‑14 and model positive teacher‑to‑student ratios (12:1).
• Maintain classroom energy, provide constructive feedback, and foster a collaborative learning environment.
• Document student progress, prepare reports, and participate in regular instructor meetings.

• Strong technology skills (e.g., 3D modeling, digital arts, coding, game creation, robotics, video editing, or significant knowledge of Minecraft/Roblox).
• Reliable transportation throughout the Saugus school district.
• Ability to work 35+ hours per week in summer after completing the school year program.
• Must be at least 21 years old and comfortable working with children.
• Preferred: prior teaching or technology‑related experience; no formal experience required.
• Comfortable with teacher‑to‑student ratio of 12:1.

• Hourly rate: $20 – $28 per hour.
• Paid training and certification.
• Flexible seasonal, part‑time schedule.

The position is based in the Saugus school district; all sessions are held within school buildings.
