Account Manager – TA Aerospace
TA Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of Trans Digm Group, invites highly motivated individuals to join its 75‑year legacy of producing innovative technology for extreme environments. The Account Manager will actively lead the customer relationship through all transactions, support, troubleshooting, and overall voice of the customer.
Base Pay Range$25.00/hr – $35.00/hr
Primary Responsibilities- Accountable for daily and weekly booking targets by customer and market segment to ensure monthly outlook commitments are met.
- Manage all customer‑required actions: quoting, PO receipt, RMA, OOR, portal, and other actions.
- Manage and dispute customer scorecards to ensure delivery and quality scores align internally and externally.
- Attend daily BU and production meetings to guarantee effective communication.
- Coordinate the resolution of all customer complaints and/or non‑complaint purchase order issues.
- Maintain active knowledge of TA capabilities, processes, and future plans to effectively communicate with customers.
- Guide, train, and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
- Maintain, monitor, and correct ERP data to ensure accuracy.
- Fully trained in Export Compliance procedures and Technical Data restrictions.
- Manage assigned accounts and backups during colleague PTO.
- Basic understanding of and ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
- Experience and understanding of AS9100 Quality System requirements.
- Experience with FAA‑PMA, TSO approved parts sales to distribution and the Aerospace Aftermarket.
- Defense or related industry experience with understanding of FAR/DFAR is a plus.
- Excellent communication, judgment and influence skills, written and verbal.
- Well organized, detail oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work with limited direct supervision; high level of motivation and urgency.
- BS/BA in a technical or business field highly desired.
- 2+ years of Customer Service/Operations experience in Aerospace manufacturing or related industry; working knowledge of Export Compliance Regulations required.
- Experience reviewing and interpreting aerospace purchase contracts and quotes.
