Quality Engineer

Position Overview:

Our team is currently looking for a Quality Engineer for a client in the Motorsports Industry, Honda Racing Corp.

• Quality Control (QC) of in‑house components: develop inspection protocols, control charts, validate measurement equipment.
• New Product Introductions & Corrective Actions: lead cross‑functional teams, troubleshoot manufacturing processes.
• Non‑Conformance Management: review in UniPoint, provide feedback, manage tooling calibration and equipment tracking.
• Advanced Product Quality Planning: first‑article inspections, process validation, work instructions, correlation studies.
• Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement: create reports, plan Six Sigma activities, manage calibration, review drawings.

• BS in Manufacturing Engineering or Material Science Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Vendor management and raw material familiarity.
• Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
• MS Office, Minitab, UniPoint.

• Strong problem‑solving and statistical analysis.
• Effective communication, organizational, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams under pressure.
• Ability to develop and present technical documentation.

• Santa Clarita, California; on‑site.
• Relocation offered.
• One‑year contract with possible extension/direct hire.
